ABIAKUM MACBETH Kingdom Investment Portfolio Matt. 6:19-21, 2Cor.9:6


Introduction:A portfolio could be described as a group of things, most especially valuable assets that a person holds. There are different types of portfolios: Creative portfolio which includes a set of pieces of creative work intended to demonstrate a person’s ability. Investment portfolio which shows the assets held by a person in an organization which include his or her stocks and other forms of assets.

Kingdom investment portfolio could therefore be described as the assets, or treasure that a Christian has in his or her heavenly account. According to our bible text, Christians are advised to lay up their treasures in heaven where they are safe.

How can I build my kingdom investment portfolio? The moment your surrender your life to Jesus, you are accepted by heaven and an investment account is open for you where every of your good works (treasures) are recorded. Rev. 20:12. It is therefore necessary that as believers while we are still here on earth ensure you invest heavily in our kingdom accounts. The following are the ways you can boost your kingdom investment portfolio.

1                    PRAISE AND WORSHIP:The word praise is so important to God that it is used about 259 times in the bible. Praise is so important to God so much so that each time we worship Him, His presences come down. Exo. 15:11, Ps. 22:3, 2Chron. 20 20-22

2         THANKS GIVING: God loves it when we give Him thanks. When you thank Him for what he has done, He will do more for you and by so doing; you increase your kingdom portfolio. Ps. 95:5, ps. 100:4, 107:22. Jer. 30:19, Rev 7:12

3          VOWS: A vow is a secret promise that a person makes to God. Anytime you redeem your vows, you increase your kingdom portfolio, Failure to redeem your vow, debits your kingdom account. Deut. 12:17, Nahum 1:15

4            FIRST FRUIT: God like it when we honour Him with our first fruit and our substance. Pro. 3:9
5                    TITHES AND OFFERING: Tithe is 1/10th of our income and that portion belongs to the almighty God while offering is a free will offering in appreciation to the Goodness of the almighty. When we bring out tithes and offering to Him, we are indirectly increasing our kingdom portfolio. Mal. 3:8-12, Gen. 4:4

6                    SERVICE IN THE VINEYARD: Our service in the house as workers does not go unnoticed. Everything we do to expand the kingdom like cleaning the church, visiting the sick, evangelism, ushering, teaching, praying for the people of God is being recorded as part of our kingdom investment and they increase our portfolio. 2 Kings 20:3-6, 2Kings 4:1-16, Acts 9:36-41.The thief on the cross, the woman at the well, etc.

REWARDS OF INVESTING IN THE KINGDOM
Every form of investment portfolio is for the purpose of yielding increase. Kingdom investment is not different. Every seed we so in the kingdom has a reward as God has promised that our labour of love shall not be in vain. The following are some of the benefits of having an investment portfolio in the kingdom.

1                    Divine Presence: 2Chron. 20
2                    Divine Safety and Security: Mal. 3:11
3                    Divine Provision: Luke 6:38
4                    Divine Vengeance: Gen 4: 10-14
5                    A Testimonial: Rev. 20:12

CONCLUSION:
What will be our gain if we call ourselves Christians and we refused to do all that will give us an inheritance in the kingdom on the last day? What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole and lose his soul. Just as David said, I will not give God that which will not cost me anything, anytime we have the opportunity to give to kingdom projects, lets us do so happily because it is an investment we will reap on the last day.
