ABIAKUM MACBETH REBUILDING THE BROKEN WALLS Nehemiah 2: 1-10

A Message of prayer

Prayer points:
In Gen. 19:16, when the Lord was to destroy to city of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord sent angels to tell Lot to leave the city but the bible tells us that Lot and his family lingered. They were reluctant to leave until the angels had to take them by hand and led them out of the city as a result of the mercy of God.
1                    Father, by the reason of your mercy, lead me out of any unpleasant situation in the name of Jesus
2                    Father, any unpleasant situation in my life, family, business, career, marriage etc. that is still lingering, Lord, put an end to them today in Jesus name (Example
3                    My father my God, any strongman that is holding me bound or sitting on my glory, Lord deliver me from such in Jesus name. (Working like elephant, moving from one place to another)
4                    Father, any power either from above or below that is holding me captive and not allowing me to make progress, Lord lose their bounds in Jesus name
5                    2 Chron. 7:14 makes us to understand that the Lord can sometimes shut the heavens against us. Father, even if you are the one that has shut the heavens, or commanded the locust or sent pestilence to devour me as a result of my sins and as a result I am still lingering in sickness, bareness, poverty, etc. Lord have mercy and let me go in Jesus name

REBUILDING THE BROKEN WALLS
Broken walls could be anything you so much cherished, hold dear that has been destroyed and you wish it is fixed. It could be your health, job, business, marriage, relationship, finances etc.

Nehemiah 2:1-3: For Nehemiah, it was the walls of Jerusalem that he wanted them rebuild. Nehemiah was sad because of the walls of Jerusalem that were broken.
>> I prophecy for someone here today that anything that is making you sad, the Lord will rebuild them in Jesus name

In verse 4, the king asked him to make a request (Blank cheque). If mortal man could ask him to make a request what about our heavenly father?
>> Please stand on your feet. You know your heart desires, you know where the shoe is pinching you, you know those things that have been destroyed or broken down in your life. Tell the almighty to rebuild them for you now in Jesus name

In verse 7, Nehemiah asked for letters to be given to the governors to convey him (Divine Passport)
>> You will lift your hands to the almighty and say Father, anywhere my destiny helpers are, please let me locate them in Jesus name

In verse 8, Nehemiah asked for a letter to Asaph for the provision of timber (Divine Provision)
>> You lift your hands to Him and say Father, Everything I need to succeed in this year 2018, Lord provide them to me by your power. Even if they do not exist, Father create them for my sake in Jesus name.

In verse 9, the kings sent captains of the army and horsemen along with Nehemiah (Divine Guardian and Security)
>> Put your hands on your head and cry to the almighty and ask Him to send his angels to watch over you and your family. Tell him to keep evil far away from your household, from your business, marriage, your career etc.

The king did all this to Nehemiah because the Hand of the Lord was upon him. Hold your neighbor and pray and say, Father, let your hand not leave this one from now till the rest of his life in Jesus name.
>>the hand of the Lord is mighty, it can save, it can deliver, it can break strong holds etc.

Conclusion: Hebrew 4:16, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and grace to help in time of need
>>alter call for those with special needs so the Holy Spirit can personally minister to them.

Nehemiah is celebrated today not because he was a king or the richest man, but because he sought to build the house of the Lord.

>> if there is anyone here who wants to join the work force of the church, receive strength and even the resources to do the work in Jesus name
